Our beginning

Born from a love of finding the best dessert in every city.

Founder Mery Ghattas and her husband made dessert shops part of every trip they took. When they looked around their hometown, they saw an opportunity to give Virginia Beach something more than the usual dessert stop.

In 2016, that idea became The Sweet Spot. What began as a locally based, family-owned concept grew into a premium dessert destination built around variety, visible preparation, memorable store design, and products made fresh when guests order.

The menu has evolved, the stores have grown, and new experiences have been added, but the purpose remains the same: create a place where dessert feels special and people want to return.
